Melaleuca is positioned to grow even more rapidly in upcoming years. To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Cost Analyst to join our team.


    This position plays three key roles in manufacturing finance.  First to implement and sustain the right financial controls in a manufacturing environment. Second to drive cost reduction across our entire factory network by driving equipment, materials and labor savings.   Third to increase efficiency in all of our cost activities so that we get the right result with a minimal amount of time spent.   Analysts interface with a variety of company departments such as Operations, Distribution, Marketing, Sales, Forecasting & Planning, Financial Analysts and Accounting to compile data and analyze improvements in the factories cost but also having a strong influence in new products, promotions and initiatives.


    • Drives cost reduction
    • Develops annual expense plan and analyzes monthly performance against the plan for assigned departments
    • Identifies, analyzes and reports key business indicators impacting the cost, growth, profitability and achievement of strategic objectives
    • Drives an analytical mindset and problem solving support for manufacturing management
    • Prepares financial statements for manufacturing and distribution
    • Reviews and analyzes departments and prepares appropriate journal entries
    • Drives cost savings and revenue enhancing ideas
    • Performs monthly expense account variance analysis
    • Prepares and calculates standard costs and inventory costs


    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting.  
    • Be able to communicate effectively
    • Have strong analytical skills
    • Business partnering or stakeholder management skills
    • Be able to deal with ambiguity
    • Be able to work independently
    • Be able to communicate in a concise manner
    • Be able to drive finance recommendations with people at different organizational levels.
